Our furniture ranges are mindfully designed to maximise safety, promote well-being and support rehabilitation in settings where furniture requiring specific features are needed.
Among these you’ll find features such as anti-ligature, fire retardancy and biological resistance. Where challenging behaviour is commonplace our fire and water-resistant products are carefully designed to improve safety and hygiene in such environments.
Fire safety in both custodial and mental health facilities require furniture to be designed and manufactured using materials such as fire-retardant foams and fabrics.
We take fire testing to the next level at Abecca and not just the stand alone furniture but in everything we make.
For example our Mattress ranges are both comfortable and safe, meeting the Crib 7 fire standard!
