New Build Gisborne Mental Health Hospital

We now have a purpose-built facility that is around therapeutic outcomes

The facility includes 10 beds, focusing on prevention and early intervention for mental health and addiction. It was one of five projects funded out of Budget 2019’s $1.9 billion investment into mental wellbeing and will be opening in January 2025.

This has been built with the individual in mind. Providing environmentally stable spaces where physical needs are met offering a place of comfort, hope, and healing.
