Abecca was a part of the new mental health beds and a mental health crisis hub at The Royal Melbourne Hospital. The hospital’s Mental Health Beds Expansion Program added 22 new acute mental health beds to the hospital’s first floor, reducing the pressure on the busy emergency department. These beds provide a modern, safe and high-quality setting for people experiencing mental illness to access treatment. Featuring single rooms with en-suites, treatment and multipurpose spaces and lounges, the space has been designed to create a safe and welcoming environment, which is Abecca’s specialty. Our furniture fitted in well with the hospital’s decorum, assisting in providing secure and stable environments.
