New Build Sunshine Hospital

The new 52-bed mental health facility at Sunshine Hospital will provide more than 18,900 days of care, enabling an estimated 1,153 more locals access to vital mental health services every year.

The build used modular building methods, which involve manufacturing buildings off-site in a factory. The buildings are made up of 3d components or ‘modules’, which are then transported to a site and assembled. Prefabricated buildings these days are smart, can be built as permanent structures, the quality is equal to a traditional build and reduces construction costs.
